A member of the No-Fault Department, Peter J. Caso, Esq. has successfully resolved numerous SUM/UM arbitrations and No-Fault bench trials and arbitrations. His work also includes examinations under oath (EUO), fee schedule audit reviews, and personal injury defense litigation. He has extensive experience working with insurance companies and enjoys the challenge of preparing for each case. Over the course of his career, he has represented State Farm Insurance Company, AutoOne Insurance, GEICO, American Transit Insurance Company, Hereford Insurance Company and Driver’s Insurance Company. He also spent 5 years with a plaintiff’s law firm giving him a unique perspective on his opponents now that he is on the defense side.
Prior to working in private practice, Peter had a long career serving the public. He spent several years in law enforcement including roles as Commanding Officer, Office of Legal Services for the New York City Transit Police Department and Lieutenant in the New York City Police Department. He is also a retired Captain in the US Navy Reserve, having served in several Intelligence positions.
Peter is active with numerous charitable and civic organizations including the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and those supporting disabled veterans/wounded warriors. He is also an usher in his church. Flying is one of his hobbies and he holds a single engine land pilots license. He also enjoys travel, photography, autoracing and mechanics. He is married with two daughters.
